In August, the Bronx market recorded a total dollar volume of $45,837,500 across 24 sales involving 25 properties, marking a sharp 64.67% decrease from July’s $129,743,243.
Multifamily assets continued to dominate activity, accounting for 19 transactions. The average multifamily price per square foot stood at $290.
The largest deal of the month was an 83-unit multifamily property at 1776 Castle Hill Ave, which sold for $7.5 million to MK Farmington Realty CORP.
The South Bronx was the most active area, with 6 sales total recorded.
